Where is the 'Nonprofit Locater'?

This service is no longer offered. But there are other online sources of information about charities.

The Editor of the Nonprofit FAQ posted this notice in November 2000::

We regret that it is not possible for us to restore the functions of this popular resource. You may wish to try alternative nonprofit directories, such as http://www.guidestar.org and http://www.idealist.org.
