Independent Sector is a nonpartisan membership organization that helps the nonprofit community improve lives across the country and around the world. Our coalition of approximately 575 charities, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs promotes public policies that help nonprofits serve their communities; strengthens the effectiveness of organizations; brings together nonprofit leaders so they can develop ideas and take action; and leads the nonprofit community to be a more powerful voice for the common good.
